A home inspection website is a client’s introduction to the home inspector himself – so it is important for the website that the home inspector has up to be a great representation of him and his company.

Some of the things a website for home inspectors should do is:

1) Showcase where the inspector works. If the user does not know where the home inspector services – they will likely not find what they are looking for.

2) Showcase some things that the home inspector offers. For instance, do they use the latest home inspection app? Then tye should showcase how their home inspection software helps the client in their negotiations and how the inspection report is thorough and detailed.

3) The website should also show other reasons why clients should hire him. Things like their experience, certifications they may have, additional services they offer besides home inspections, and more.

When the inspector’s website shows potential clients those items, then the client can make an informed decision, and will likely choose that inspector – partly because if a home inspector is informative on his website, then he will likely be informative on the client’s home inspection.

WHAT MATTERS ON A HOME INSPECTOR’S WEBSITE

When it comes down to it – anything on an inspector’s website should be for the client. He should work hard to provide value to the client, accurate information that is not exaggerated, and valid reasons for hiring them.

The average consumer is not an inspection expert, and likely only has a few days or maybe a couple of weeks to determine who they will hire. So a home inspector should give honest and forthright information.

By doing this, the inspector is truly helping their client already, and shows that he is likely a good pick for that particular client for their new home and to protect their investment.
